Support Mental & Emotional Care Where It’s Needed Most

General donations allow REACH to respond quickly and responsibly to emerging needs across all our programs. These funds support counselling delivery, professional supervision, training, administration, and program growth—ensuring that care remains free, accessible, and sustainable.
By giving generally, you help REACH strengthen systems of care for youth, young adults, university students, educators, and families, while maintaining the integrity and accountability required for long-term impact.

Your support helps us:

  • Sustain free counselling programs
  • Train and supervise future counsellors
  • Build partnerships with schools, universities, and community organizations
  • Respond to urgent mental health needs as they arise

Free Counselling for University Students

Since 2012, REACH has partnered with universities and clinical supervisors to provide free, multi-session counselling to university students who would otherwise face long wait times, limited sessions, or unaffordable costs.

Many post-secondary students experience high levels of anxiety, stress, depression, and hopelessness—but campus resources are often overwhelmed. REACH fills this gap by providing timely access to consistent care, often within 24 hours of referral.

Over the years, REACH has delivered thousands of free counselling sessions, saving students tens of thousands of dollars while improving access to meaningful mental health care.

Your support helps us:

  • Free, multi-session counselling with the same clinician
  • Reduced wait times for students in crisis
  • Supervised care delivered by trained counselling interns
  • Financial relief for students unable to afford private counselling

Supporting Those Who Support Our Children

Teachers across Canada are facing a mental health crisis. Long hours, increasing classroom complexity, emotional labour, and limited support systems have led to rising burnout, absenteeism, and attrition, impacting not only educators, but students and entire school communities.
REACH’s Free Counselling for Teachers program provides lived-experience counselling, delivered by professionals who understand education firsthand. This model removes common barriers such as cost, limited sessions, and counsellors unfamiliar with the realities of teaching.

This initiative begins locally and is designed to scale, supporting entire schools, districts, and eventually other regions across Canada.

Your support helps us:

  • Free counselling for teachers and school staff
  • Flexible access (on-site, off-site, or virtual)
  • Long-term support beyond short-term EAP limits
  • Healthier educators, stronger classrooms, and more resilient schools
